Post Fukushima Nuclear Safety Program Integration Services

MADEROs personnel bring specialized nuclear industry experience in the development, implementation, and integration of major post-Fukushima nuclear safety, risk-reduction, and plant resilience initiatives, including Seismic Probabilistic Risk Assessment (SPRA), Expedited Seismic Evaluation Process(ESEP), seismic hazard and vulnerability evaluations, flooding evaluations, and engineering and implementation of flooding mitigation modifications.

This experience encompasses the coordination and integration of probabilistic risk assessment (PRA), multidisciplinary engineering, plant systems and equipment evaluations, field walkdowns, vulnerability assessments, modification engineering, procurement, construction, testing, operations, maintenance, quality, project controls, and implementation activities required to move complex nuclear safety initiatives from initial evaluation through final plant implementation.

As a Project Integrator, MADERO applies this experience to coordinate the numerous technical and organizational interfaces associated with safety-significant nuclear projects, including (but not limited to):

Integration of PRA and engineering activities with project execution requirements

Coordination of seismic and flooding hazard evaluations with plant-specific vulnerabilities

Integration of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and other engineering disciplines

Coordination of plant inspections walkdowns, field verification, and equipment assessments
